The first 3 months of 2013 proved to be quite active for home sales in Old South London and the Wortley Village area, with 35 houses changing hands for 99% of the asking price of $294,340 and of those, they were on the market an average 37 days!

House prices remain strong in this ecletic neighbourhood in South London and the last 2 weeks have proven to be a sellers’ market, the reverse of other parts of London!

185 homes sold in Old South London, Wortley Village in 2012 and taking into consideration the size of this small sought after eclectic array of homes, this amount of activity is quite remarkable!

 The average selling price was $274,841 and these homes sold for 99% of their asking price and only took 30 days to sell, well under the London and area average!

  There are very few condos in this neighbourhood at the present, however, there are 2 projects under way and will be available soon.

 Just driving through the neighbourhood you will notice many home owners doing cosmetic or even major improvements to their homes! The village itself continues to thrive with new retail and services opening up.
