Masonville & StoneyBrook Home Sales in London Ontario

The first 3 months of 2013 saw 23 houses change hands in the Masonville, Stoneybrook area in North London and those that did sold in an average 46 days for 97% of the $436,327 asking price, a slight decrease from 2012.
Condo sales were vibrant with 26 selling for 98% of the asking price of $212,526. All in all, an active market and leaning more towards a buyer's market.
April and May will be interesting and should be watched closely for any trends that could tip the market. I will do an up to date blog to keep you informed.
In the Masonville area of London, including Stoneybrook, residential houses and condos sold quite well in 2012 with 123 houses being sold for on average of $444,524 and 97 condos averaging $224,071 and both took approximately 35 days to sell at 98.5% of the asking price. I had one that sold in 3 days and another that I never even had a chance to get the For Sale sign up!
Being near Western, the hospital and mere minutes to downtown, this neighbourhood in North London remains a sought after address!

Stoneybrook is east on Richmond Street and west of Adelaide Street and bi-sected by Fanshawe Park Road . Stoneybrook Heights is north of Fanshawe Park Road, Stoneybrook Acres is south of Fanshawe Park Road and both offer easy access to all that London has to offer. Western (UWO, The University of Western Ontario)  is close along with Brescia, Althouse, London Science Centre, University Hospital and Research Park, Windermere and other great London attractions. You can shop till you drop at Masonville Mall and Power Centres along with a wide range of professional services. Easy access to the 401, less than 1 hour to the sandy beaches of Lake Huron and of course, Sunningdale Golf Club, Fanshawe Golf Club and others nearby. You can find a house or condo in these London neighbourhoods to meet every one's taste, from one floor condos, low rise and highrise apartments, townhouses to one floor ranches, 2 storey homes and homes with a pool.
